Our Crown Heights Kids series is designed, created and sourced locally in Brooklyn, NY. 

The wearer will enjoy a show stoping comfortable fit for children from 8 to 36 months. Easy to put on and take off, each product was created to project your child’s individualism, with hints of your family’s moral authority and delight for the wearer.

Our design philosophy is rooted in the process.                                                    

Each product is one of kind and composed using 100% recycled fabrics from vintage stores, dead stock suppliers, and friendly donations from around New York City. This collection is inspired by the materials collected from these suppliers. Each fabric was hand picked for its unique graphic, color, pattern or text.

Painting and bleaching fabric can be a potent method of reanimating remnants. Crown heights kids only utilizes environmentally safe bleach alternatives and fabric paint. Exploring safer ways to enhance the presence of the textile is core to our design process. In this collection we used a combination of hydrogen peroxide and oxygen-based bleach. 

Asymmetrical ruffle embellishments were constructed out of left over scraps to accentuate color, movement and style.
